What is Life Coaching?

Have you heard of a business coach or a sports coach? Athletes work on their goals all the time, mainly through the power of visualisation. Together with their coach they set their goals and envisage themselves crossing that finish line. Positivity and the will to succeed drives them forward until they actually make it across that finish line. It is not the coach who is throwing the javelin or peddling the bicycle, but the athlete themselves. The coach simply empowers each individual to be the best version of themselves.

Life Coaching isn’t…

Life coaching is not a process where I tell you what to do.  You have the power within you to find your own answers. I simply ask the right questions and listen compassionately. I do not give advice and interfere in your life, I walk beside you as you discover your truths. No two session are ever the same and there is no right or wrongs to the whole journey. All you need to do is connect and the rest will follow.

So, what actually happens?

I am a mobile life coach and can hold sessions wherever suits my client. It is always advisable that our first couple of sessions are somewhere quiet and away from distractions. I work from home, or I can visit you in your home. We could meet at a café or go for a walk on the beach. Of course ,should you be further afield we can use Skype or FaceTime, where I will call you. No two sessions are ever the same.

I like to set homework for you to reflect on between each session. I find that this allows you the time to progress away from our time together. It should never be seen as a chore, as it will always compliment our work we do together.
